Kenneth Lew, Chief Executive Officer
As a thought leader in technology strategy, Mr. Lew provides delivery of solutions that optimize investment in information technology and accelerate operational efficiencies for public, not-for-profit, and commercial clients. Mr. Lew has a unique blend of strong technology skills and knowledge coupled with business process development and organizational experience.
Prior to founding the Innovation Network, Mr. Lew rose through the ranks of the software consulting company, Noblestar Systems, Inc., to become CEO in 2005. Mr. Lew began his career at Noblestar in May 1996 leading ERP implementations for clients such as Borders Group, Sprint, BT North America, College Board, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, among others. He acquired much of his global work experience through the deployment of enterprise software implementations throughout the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific. As Managing Director, he built the ERP and packaged software practices at Noblestar and transformed Noblestar into a technology consulting focused organization.
In addition, he led efforts to form a strategic partnership with IBM, which he has continued to foster at The Innovation Network.
Mr. Lew has held leadership positions in the PeopleSoft Mid-Atlantic and the IBM WebSphere User Groups in Washington, D.C. He is a board member of the Monte Jade Science and Technology Association and a frequent guest speaker on technology and innovation at conferences and other events. Mr. Lew holds an M.S. degree in Software Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland.
Paul Chin, Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Chin has over 15 years of experience in technology strategy and implementation consulting. Mr. Chin specializes in leading data architecture and full life cycle software development implementation projects for the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. He has broad experience in enterprise, Commercial of-the-Shelf (COTS), and custom built software implementations. In addition, Mr. Chin has over 10 years of experience in management and technology consulting for grants management programs, where he brings his technical insight in data architecture, data mapping and conversion, grants audit and compliance metrics. Within the grants management domain, Mr. Chin has also led investigative reporting and data analytics efforts, audit and risk assessments, in support of expansive grant management programs. Mr. Chin’s technology work has encompassed major organizations, including the U.S. Department of Justice, MitreTek Solutions, and ICF International. Mr. Chin holds a B.S. degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland and is a Certified Agile SCRUM Master with the Scrum Alliance.
Nichola LeSchack, VP Client Services
Ms. LeSchack has over 18 years of experience in project management, requirements gathering analysis, business process re-engineering, and deployment strategies on a national scale for Federal and non-Federal government agencies. Ms. LeSchack leads and mentors IN’s grants management implementation projects providing guidance, strategy and support to IN consultants and IN’s most strategic customers. Ms. LeSchack holds a B.A. degree in Social Sciences (Law/Sociology) from the University of Canberra, ACT, Australia. She is also a certified PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).
Ricky Choi, Project Manager/Implementation Manager
Mr. Choi has over 8 years of work experience as a business consultant in the Systems Integration & Technology sector, delivering on large scale implementations from conception to launch. Mr. Choi has acquired proficiency in documenting feedback from customers and translating into clear designs for development teams. As a results-driven leader directing cross-functional teams, Mr. Choi has developed a commitment to greater user experiences and client vision. Most recently, Mr. Choi has been instrumental in implementing solutions for several key clients. Mr. Choi’s expertise resides in the various solutions for nonprofits and government agencies, which include the SmartSimple platform, where he often leads the architecture and design of SmartSimple solutions. Mr. Choi received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science, Systems Engineering - Project Management degree from Johns Hopkins University.
Jeff Peters, Senior Consultant
Mr. Peters has over 30 years of experience in computer-based systems technology. His background includes military, federal, public, and private-sector work. He is certified in project management (PMP) and web application development (CACFD). His technical expertise includes application architecture/design/development, cyber security, database design, business process design/redesign, network design and implementation, IT infrastructure management, and technical writing. He has written numerous magazine articles, several books on web development issues and techniques, and two guides for technical writers. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Decision Science/Management Information Systems, and a Master's Degree in Cyber Security.
Jenny Pittman, Senior Manager - Marketing & Business Development
Ms. Pittman has over 15 years of experience in marketing and business development in the technology services industry. She has extensive experience in all aspects of marketing the Innovation Network brand, including event participation, securing speaking opportunities, social media and grassroots marketing campaigns. Ms. Pittman is also responsible for business development and client engagement. She also manages all partner relationships and industry memberships. Ms. Pittman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication from James Madison University.
